Service Desk

The Service Desk is your stop for all of your  School of Business related computer questions/requests. We are well prepared and equipped to answer service calls in many areas including:

  • Installing software
  • Troubleshooting driver issues
  • Installing new hardware
  • Troubleshooting software or hardware failure
  • Replacing defective parts
  • Computer buying advice
  • Many types of computer upgrades

Computer Hardware & Software

The School of Business's IT Support group provides a variety of software and hardware support. Please try to familiarize with the options you may have regarding software and hardware such as:

  • Computer Procurement
  • Supported Software
  • Purchase Requests
  • Software Licenses


Our network team provides core network services to all faculty and staff members. We also have dedicated services for the School of Business Administration students. Also, our technical support staff is also available for each service through our Service Desk along with direct contact to the systems administrator group. We encourage you to become familiar with our core services listed below.

Lab Services

The School of Business has over 100 lab workstations available for student use.  These are the designated computer labs:

  • The Teaching Lab located in Stubblefield 204
  • The Undergraduate Lab located in Stubblefield 209
  • The Graduate Lab located on the 4th floor of the Mclamore Executive Education Center
  • The Information Resource Lab also located on the 4th floor of the Mclamore Executive Education Center
  • De La Cruz Study Center also has computers avaialable

Mobile Support

The following are the Communications Services that we offer at the School of Business:

  • Remote Data Wipe (on suppoorted devices)

All mobile/tablet platforms are supported for faculty including:

Online Services

The University of Miami School of Business Online Service provides technical support for web related issues regarding our business web site and other services. We also provide other services such as the following:

Communications Services Support

The University of Miami School of Business provides and support the following Communications Services:

  • Polycom Video Conferencing
  • GoTo Meeting
  • GoTo Webinar
  • Blackboard Collaborate setup
