September 29, 2014 Management Professor Receives Best Paper Award from Leading Management Organization
A research paper co-authored by Gergana Todorova, assistant professor of management, received the “Best Paper Award” in the Conflict Management division at the 74th Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management, held in August. Article

December 18, 2013  The Wall Street Journal – An article about firms’ efforts to train their senior leaders on the use of technology noted students from the School of Business “are mentoring executives at Citigroup Inc.’s Latin American unit on the lives and digital habits of millennials.” Article
November 25, 2013 The Wall Street Journal –  In “The Experts” column, Robert Plant, an associate professor of computer information systems, wrote that firms should clearly define their firm’s culture to help achieve “higher levels of performance with their most valuable assets, their human capital.” Article
September 30, 2013 School Brings Together Female Business Leaders for Candid Discussion
The School of Business in September brought together nearly 125 women to talk about pursuing leadership positions in business, overcoming sexism in the workplace, balancing work and home life and more. Article
May 2, 2013 Bloomberg BusinessWeek – The magazine’s online BusinessSchools section featured an article about the School’s Emerging Leaders Internship Program in which MBA students spend part of their time at Bacardi U.S.A. and part of the time at Royal Caribbean Cruises in a single internship. The article included quotes from Irena Katzarkov, one of the first students to participate in the program, and Brian Rice, the CFO of Royal Caribbean and a member of the School’s Board of Overseers. Article

March 11, 2013 New India Express –  An article in one of India’s leading daily newspapers featured a visit by 20 of the School’s MBA students to a school in Kalpakkam, India. The visit was part of a leadership project that the MBA participated in during a study trip to India. Article
